viscid-looking stipe, purplish basal mycelium (but that’s also found in Laccaria), purplish gills contrasting with yellow elsewhere, omphalinoid stature (I guess Laccaria ares sometimes omphalinoid?), and growing in lichens/algae (Chromosera is one of those funky non-mycorrhizal Hygrophoraceae that may be in association with photosynthetic cryptogams).
