i was thinking this was a G korfii, and I was curious to know how to distinguish those two. so you don’t think this is G korfii?

Discina brunnea is the same as Gyromitra brunnea and also Gyromitra fastigiata.

of D. brunnea fruiting is more brown than golden. Saddle shape is more common with D. brunnea. Contrasting white stipe with brown “cap”.

how to distinguish from Gyromitra brunnea?
