Growing on cut end of a log. Don’t remember kind of log. Upper surface reddish. Pore surface red as well.


In situ. Upper surface ruby red to dark red.
Upper surface various shades of red. Inner flesh off-white.
Hymenium composed of reddish pores, becoming white with age.

woody polypore. Dark ruby-red color may only be from older specimens.
