excellent pair of images.
is that Scott Redhead told me that Index Fungorum is a British site that is not always up to date on North American taxonomy. The Quebec site has been using the Kuehneromyces marginellus name for over a year.
Several paragraphs about the synonymy you mention in Smith’s Pholiota monograph, but it’s been a while since I’ve read it.
why this is not listed as a synonym for Pholiota veris? I see on Index Fungorum that Pholiota veris is listed as the current name for Kuehneromyces rostratus; P. marginatum and K. marginellus are listed as a separate pair of synomyms.
