The caps are a bit on the large side…

for Calocybe… at least according to my understanding. Also, this collection lacks the pink, especially on the stipe, that I expect on C. carnea/persicolor. Cap color for this obs is more of a watery tan than pink. BTW, these “calocybes” are currently placed in genus rugosomyces. The robust Calocybe gambosa is either rare or does not occur in North America.

Brought a lot of material home this day, and left these in the woods. Otherwise, spore shape may have settled this.

that strongly suggests against L. decastes? These are quite robust/thick-fleshed for Gymnopus.
