But it may be more overlooked than rare. It looks like a small grey Hygrocybe but you cell tell that the cap surface is strange for a Hygrocybe. I bet observation 167977 is the same but faded. Jury is still out if we have the same thing here as they do in Europe though. Did you keep a specimen by any chance? Great find!
