Observation 168473: Phylloporus Quél.

Bright yellow fungi growing singularly in forest floor soil and debris. Gills easily bruised turning copper green. Cap tested for marking, which was not apparent when scrapped. (small stick points to area tested.) The stipe was almost parallel overall. The Cap was not as saturated (yellow) in colour as the gills. The fungi was shallow rooted, and in a semi open but shaded area, by the canopy above.

Small twig indicates test area scraped on cap.
