propose section Caesareae, until I saw that molecular data supports Validae. I wonder if this has implications here obs 147551 …?

A yellowish ring on the stem and yellow volva fragments would suggest sect. Validae (as an example); however, these taxa should not have long marginal striations on the cap.

Were you able to get all the way down to the bottom of the stem?
