Found in the Big Sandy Creek Unit of the Big Thicket National Preserve.
Caps up to 6.8 cm across.
Spore print sl. creamy.
Spores ~ 7.1-10.0 X 5.8-7.3 microns,broadly ellipsoid to ellipsoid.
Q(range) = 1.17-1.45. Q(ave) = 1.34. n=18
Wanted to call these C. lewisii but spores seem much rounder and larger overall.
