the color in the first photo is pretty spot on.
i am sending this specimen to Cristina tomorrow morning.

There is a lot of yellow in shadows etc. in the photos.

Amanita cruzii is known from the Dominican Republic and a pine plantation in Colombia. It isn’t known from the U.S. Is it possible that the photos are more orange than the specimen was in natural light?
