This is a beautiful little Agaricus. At least two different species have been called A. abrubtibulbus in ‘the Northeast’. I think this species might be smaller than either of them. A. cretacellus Atk. might be a good match; however, that species really hasn’t been known for over 100 years. New collections for herbaria would be great in the future.
