Thank you very much, Eva.

I wanted to let you know that one of your images (the cap of “sp-lavendula01”) will be on one of the slides for my talk at the Northeast Mycological Foray this Friday in Maine. I wanted to show the variations of cap color in the species so I took a screen shot of the “bubble gum card” illustrations on the brief tab of the WAO webpage for the infraspecific hybrid. The point of the combined illustrations is that cap-color is not going to help separate the three citrina-like species in eastern North America.

Very best,

Rod

As in the previous cases, I would be very interested in examining material of sect. Vaginatae that you have the time and inclination to send my way.

Very best,

Rod
