Camarophyllus virgineus seems to be fairly solid for these as they had larger spores (approx. 10.0 X 5.0 microns), growing near bay trees. yellow tinted caps, and even the “rarely pale pinkish lavender downward” stipe on one of them.

These are very common under California Bay, no idea why. Very, very typical.
