Gray mushroom with a convex shining cap.
Cap: 4-8cm, gray or brownish-gray, smooth, convex up to broadly convex of partially irregular shape (sometimes wavy) with radial hatching as fibers and rare grooves, sticky in wet weather or shining when dry; margin curved in. Flesh is white.
Gills: attached up to slightly descending, narrow, moderately broad, close up to almost distant, white up to grayish-white or with weak cream coloring. Odor is weak and unpleasant (?).
Stalk: 3-7cm long, white 2-3cm thick, some fibrous and brownish-white for old ones.
Habitat: small groups or crowded clusters scattered in pine-tree forest with some birches. Edibility: no data.
June – September.
