Notes:
Grassy Field school playground. When Cut open, no visible bruising when cut open. Large caps, 4 1/2 to 8 inches across. Earthy smell (smells like stronger version of white button mushroom), mealy. Texture is smooth. There were growing in a group along a line. Gills were close to white (light brown) when picked, darkened over several days.

Picked in August, however it is a cool summer with temperatures rarely in the 80’s. When mushrooms were spotted, the temperature was in the 70’s.
