Collection location: Sycamore Grove Park, Livermore, California, USA [Click for map]

Who: Debbie Viess (amanitarita)

Specimen available

These were also found at this park under valley oak last year. Several collections made, altho the fruit bodies were quite old and beat-up by the rain. One had an almost white cap, and some had quite bulbous volvas, altho the stipe within was straight as an arrow.

Found in mixed hardwood forest: sycamore, live oak, and willow, by stream-course.
