Found lying on top of an Oak stump. There were other fruit bodies present also, but in early stages of development. This may have been picked and then put back on the stump. Its not a very pretty specimen, but one can see the varnished stipe which may indicate G. Lucidum.

You’ve got an interesting specimen here, I suspect it is curtisii, due to lucidum being a European species. If you still have this I would like a sample if you would be so willing.
