can be large. Those brown stains should turn dark after an hour or two.

and I didn’t find any small ones around. Regarding suggested name T.alboater: the pore surface doesn’t turn promptly red and then black as it’s supposed to for that species, but instead turns brown slowly. On the other hand, flesh is not bitter just like in T.aboater.
