thin continuous corticate white crust with black prothallus, K~ reddish-brownish but no crystals developing after several minutes UV-, algae Trentepohlia, lirellae prominent and entire with thin lateral to basal thalline margin long an irregularly sparsely branched, exciple carbonized apically and laterally to base but open and just brownish below, no pruina, disk hidden throughout, paraphyses tips surrounded with brown granules not clearing in K but apparently not considered “ornamented”?!, hymenium not inspersed, spores 8 per ascus hyaline elliptical smooth mostly 7-9-septate with lenticular lumina ~20-30×7-10um I+ blackish
