The biggest/first difference I see is that this one’s aged peridium is relatively smoothly/consistently brown and distinctly folded. I haven’t seen either property yet.

By “rhizomorphs”, do you mean the big chunky root itself, or the strands coming out of it? image 449860

Regardless, I think these fb’s are so old that even originally vivid yellow ones could have turned brown…
