I would not exspect to find this species growing on moss it usally found on wood.
Yellow is a very common colour for a plasmodium so with out fruiting bodys there is no way to name it.

and went with Plantae off the bat. there’s at least that much in the photo, but I hadn’t considered another specimen sharing the same space.

What are we looking at here? It looks a little like a yellow plasmodium climbing up the seta of a moss.
