probably in sect. Amidella

This image probably depicts a species of Amanita sect. Amidella. Since there is a little wear and tear on the stipe and I’m not sure of the dimensions, I’d guess either A. volvata or A. pseudovolvata [Tulloss nom. prov.] My eyes just aren’t good enough to see if there are striations on the margin of the button on the right in the photo. Striations at the button stage are typical of pseudovolvata. Because volvata is a larger mushroom with a thicker cap. It is very uncommon to see striations on the cap margin of a button of volvata.
