Corts that look quite a bit like C. distans but differ in maybe one key trait. For the ones seen in this observation it’s the smooth cap surfaces that give reason to question “distans”. My understanding is that most of the drab-brownish Corts with widely spaced gills are placed in section Hinnulei.
