Large numbers scattered loosely on moss-covered logs. Saw these in quite a few places. Aren’t moss-dwelling little jobs like this Rickenella? (They are no more than 5 mm wide at most, with decurrent, distant gills.)

I check another one yesterday, and even at 20x they are clearly visible in silhouette in bright sunlight — cool! Thanks, Doug.
Looks right to me, they should have cystidia on the cap surface, which I think you can almost see in the photos.
