Observation 19016: Boletus chrysenteron Bull.

Notes:
Here is another reason that I need to graduate to a better microscope- my son’s starter kit just ain’t hacking it! So thei mushroom bruised blue instantly. That suggest B. truncatus. The pink in the cracks on the pileus suggests B. chrysenteron But when I look at the spores they don’t seem all that cut short to me. Can someone with some experience tell me?

Based on microscopic features: I looked at the spores. They don’t seem to be very truncated

Cap dark, relatively uncracked. Strong blueing. Extensive red on stipe.
