Observation 19903: Agaricales sensu lato

When: 2009-01-24

Collection location: Albion, Mendocino Co., California, USA [Click for map]

Who: Douglas Smith (douglas)

No specimen available

Found on small woody debris, under D. fir, pine, tanoak. This was actually the first thing I found on Sat. morning. Got out of the car, and looked down, and there in was in the grass and debris on the side of the road. Kinda strange, with the off center stipe, and the gills are somewhat serrate.

Could it be some kind of Lentinellus?
