Used references: Peridium walls are plicate externally and internally and the peridium is internally yellowish brown. This points towards C. striatus. at first glance, and yet frustrating, as I had been lead to believe that C. striatus was an exclusively temperate species. it appears that it is rare, but not absent. perhaps Larissa could be convinced to pay a visit to this list, provided recent motherhood permits her to time for fungi…

edit: I apparently knew it was rare when I created the species list and subsequently forgot…
