I don’t think I have come across this one before, definitely not in this patch of grass. It was further away from trees (15m) than I usually would have expected. There was a shrub close by though, will take a picture of the shrub today.

I don’t recall this from Little Hartley.

Can you jog my memory? In gross form, this reminds me of the edible taxa from southern and southeastern Asia that have a form suggesting the Phalloideae. I wouldn’t eat this nevertheless. There is currently some debate over the placement of such taxa. It will be interesting to see if this species falls into that group.
