Observation 19972: Cotylidia P. Karst.

This fungi was found on an old dead moss covered log after heavy rain. When I examined the texture of this fungi I was amazed how sturdy it was. I thought it would be jellylike and soft. This was not the case. It was remarkably resilient, and was not damaged by my pressing my finger against its surface.
I dont think it can be in the jelly-like category. It may fit in the coral types. It is new to me so I’ll be lazy and hand it over to the experts for help.
