Amanita verna

Hello everybody, I only just joined up today and don’t quite have the hang of things, but to me, it seems what is being discussed here is whether this is Amanita verna or an Agaricus sp.
Clearly it is not in the genus Amanita for the spores are white, while those of Agaricus are brown to dark brown as shown in the photo. (and why was ‘verna’ chosen and not other Amanita’s ?)
