Regarding “mixed collection”

I do believe the set of three photos together represent a mixed collection, but the observation as a whole clearly is about the first one.

(Edit: the rhetoric of this comment is void, as I now believe it to be Coprinopsis)

- These were on the underside of a log
- I couldn’t find any evidence of gills inside the colored specimens
- RJK agreed in situ that they were more likely plants
- 2nd pic is tough and waxy like a plant part, unlike a mushroom
- 2nd pic is a few inches from 1st, 95% same thing
- I’m 95% sure I collected some, and I found the hatched seedling in the 3rd pic in my tackle box
- If it’s an agaric it has to be Coprinopsis and I don’t know any good ones. No idea about what plants can look like.
