Found in non-burned mixed-conifer forest of Abies grandis, Pseudotsuga menziesii, and Pinus ponderosa with minor amounts of Thuja plicata, Tsuga heterophylla, and Pinus monticola. Understory included Vaccinium sp., Acer circinatum, and Trillium ovatum.

have dark brown to black ridges when young, and a straight, hollow stipe?

do you have uncut photos of the stipe base for these morels?

It’s not a “perfect” match to snyderi in its shown base characters, but fits better than brunnea.
