Small fruit-bodies with caps up to 2.5 cm across, growing mostly underground @ ~ 6,000 ft.
Spores ~ 7.8-9.9 X 5.1-6.1 microns ellipsoid, and moderately rough.

The descriptions I found for C. boulderensis also mention gray-lilac gills, which doesn’t appear to be the case here, although they may be a little too mature.
