Thank you Matt. I can revisit this possibly in the next day or two. I also think the cap was sticky. Gills were pretty much the same color as the rest of it if I remember correctly. But wait until I revisit the shroom.

My gut reaction is Hygrocybe flavescens, though gills don’t look white enough, though again the lighting angle is odd (sunlight coming through cap rather than most pics with cap upturned against dark soil background)
