Observation 20695: Australopilus palumanus (Wolfe & Bougher) Halling & Fechner

Camp Site #5 in Davies Creek Nat’l Park (Queensland) is the type locality. Repeated visits indicate it still grows there. Definitely has the look and feel of the iconic T. chromapes from eastern North America.

Duplicate specimens in BRI & NY (Osmundson #1096).
