Observation 20786: Entoloma Fr. ex P. Kumm.

I was only able to get this single image. The fungi was in the hollow of a burnt out trunk that was leaning at a precarious angle over a steep gorge.
I was able to get high enough from another tree but at the loss of sharpness and resolution. The two colours of the fungi was what attracted me to them. I apoligise for lack of info but access was impossible. We have also had a lot of large tree falls here in the forest due to the heavy rainfall we have experienced.

I am so envious of your blue entolomas. I’ll just bet that I’m not the only one.

Thanks folks for all the input. Sometimes I pull the wrong strings & press the wrong button. So far as photos go, the one Debbie would have liked to have seen, I can assure you it wasn’t a pretty site, but I’am sure you could imagine the scene………. Chow for now.

I would love to have seen a photo of you attempting to take this photo!
