Observation 20897: Gymnopilus P. Karst.

This rather tiny fungi was growing on a fallen log and was in partial shade. The area was damp, and was mainly eucalyptus with blood woods and some native wattle.
Again I have used my thumbnail as an indication for measurement. My thumbnail is about 15mm across, so that would make the cap about 15m..The fungi was delicate, had no aroma to speak of and did not seem to bruise when handled.
