Notes:
Half a dozen fruiting in grass under Oak and Redbuds. Bright orange-yellow, minutely tomentose caps with wavy inrolled margins, forked false gills with cross veins running deeply down stem. Largest cap = 6 cm; stem = 4 cm. tall and 1 cm. wide. Flesh solid, white,
unchanging. Slight pleasant fruity odor.
