There is an extremely good match to Amanita longicuneus.

in the dryer. It often seems to me to be worthwhile taxonomic trait…so long as the drying temperature is also recorded.

I collected this with you in mind. It’s almost dry enough to package. The gills turned tan in drying on this one.
