Found in bush after week of new winter rain and cold, growing on living/recently fallen trees in generallly greener parts of the bush. Seemed to grow out of bark, has rubbery texture and smells like normal cooking mushrooms. Top of caps bright red/rusty orange, short velvet feeling. Flesh inside cap is orange and rubbery- hard to tear.
