Notes:
Small (coin-sized) orange-gilled shelf mushroom growing out of a crack of a log in a mixed conifer forest (red fir, white fire, lodgepole pine). Slightly shaggy cap, no evidence of a stipe even inside the crack. Texture: slightly tough, surprisingly robust, not flimsy.
