is also listed as growing in grassy areas. Actually, looking now in Roody and his photos of A. dura (=A. molesta) look a lot like this one. So maybe this is the best ID candidate. Also, looking at my photo again, there’s a grayish tinge to the gills, another trait listed for A. dura. Specimen was old and rotted while on the spore print board. So, it’s in the compost now.

Agrocybe dura, the spore shape (and the completely white cap) fits better with that than with praecox.
But it would be interesting to see cheilocystidia too.

This species seems a bit big for A. pediades and the cap shape seems a bit off. Maybe closer to A. praecox.
