On downed rotted log (along with Auricularia aricula) after significant rains. Note annulus.
I thought this was too white to be Hypholoma fasciculare, and the annulus too apparent. Did not have yellowish tones either. (The greenish tint in the photo may be an artifact of reflection of the very green moss.) I did not take a specimen for a spore print however – I would have been surprised if it was dark. But perhaps they were just very fresh specimens.
