Looks more like a young Tremellodendropsis to me than a Ramaria. It looks somehow heterobasidiomycetous ;-))

contact Nigel Fechner at the Queensland Herbarium (BRI). He is currently working on Australian Ramaria. It looks similar to what Nigel has called Ramaria capitata (Lloyd) Corner while we were in the field on Fraser Island this past June (2009). Dry sclerophyll is the habitat in which we saw it.
