Habitat: two growing solitary beside gravel driveway among grasses, ferns, and herbaceous plants.
Cap: convex nearly flattened; velvety surface; white with slight brownish tinge; apparently being fed on by small insects (thrips?).
Gills: free; white; close; broad.
Stalk: white, brownish tinge toward base; centered; solid; enlarging slightly toward base; base bulb; well defined ring.
Spores: print white/cream; wide oval, 8.0 × 4.8 μm including pointed projection on one end.
Other: NaOH, NH4OH, FeSO4 on cap all negative.
