Growing singly in moss under Pseudotsuga menziesii with Tsuga heterophylla and Thuja plicata nearby. Pliable, thread-like stem.
I scoured this key for hours and found no matches.
The closest to a match on a Google image search (matches better than the photo in the link below) was Mycena alexandri, collected in Alaska and Ontario by Singer in 1962, I have no evidence of its occurrence in the PNW.
