With oak, large, weak library paste smell only when cut, no staining, thick veil, bulbous stipes.

There are probably three organisms represented here. The last photo is of the largest specimen in the first photo. The second pic might be from another mycelial network, and the penultimate+antepenultimate ones are definitely separate.

I felt they were all the same. Which do you think the second pic goes with?

look to be a different species to me (probably in the Xanthodermati).
The photos above that look to be something more difficult to determine – perhaps in the subrutilescens group as you noted, or maybe something weirder…

Any species suggestions?
