Notes:
Growing on a pile of wood pieces and tree leaves; Same place than observation 224024 and of my other observations in coprinoid mushrooms since then.

The overall looking is that of a Coprinellus, but the veil remnants seem wrong forthat genus and is more like that in Coprinopsis sect. Nivei. Cap with ~2.5cm in diameter for the bigger one.

“Coprinus pseudoniveus differs from C. niveus and C. pachyspermus
by its much smaller spores. The spores of C. cothurnatus are relatively narrower (6.5–8.5 μm), more hexagonal and this species has no pleurocystidia (Uljé 2005).
Our specimens have slightly longer and relatively narrower spores, than many
other authors indicate for C. pseudoniveus: 9.0–12.5 × 7.5–11.5 μm (Uljé
& Noordeloos 1993, Uljé 2005, Vesterholt 2008); (9.5)10.0–12.3(12.8) ×
(8.5)9.0–10.0(10.4) μm (Doveri 2004). Neither the yeast-like smell of basidiocarps (Uljé & Noordeloos 1993, Uljé 2005) was observed in our specimens, but Doveri (2004) did not indicate any smell in his collections of this species. Thus, on the whole the features of our C. pseudoniveus collections fit this species description fairly well.”
