basidia (10)13-25×8-10um, basidiospores ~8-10×8um, sterile hyphae (“hyphidia” fide. Diederich 1996) abundant

More-or-less mature basidia prior to formation of epibasidia, stained in Phloxine-B after pretreatment with KOH. Note the presence of all three types of septae: transverse, oblique and longitudinal.
