Notes:
Specimen was brought home for study. Strangely, several of these mushrooms were found growing in a thick grove of eucalyptus, pushing through the twigs and leaf litter. Key identifying features include its lack of yellowing on the cap or when the bulb was crushed, the “library paste” smell from the crushed bulb, the thick, soft partial veil, and the brownish-red fibrils across the cap.
